About
Dundee airport is a licensed airfield open for scheduled, private and charter operators and is situated only five minutes from Dundee City Centre.
Every day our operations teams handle a multitude of flights from the onsite flight training school to the scheduled services and the private operators using business and leisure jets.
The onsite flight training school can offer training for full Private Pilots License (PPL) right through to Commercial Pilots License (CPL). The school is run by Tayside Aviation who have a long and varied history at Dundee airport.
Cityjet run flights to London City Airport at convenient times to suit your business and leisure travel requirements. And during the summer months we have a weekly departure to Jersey.
Dundee airport is proud to be the closest airport to the "home of golf", St Andrews' Royal and Ancient Golf Course - appointed venue for the Open 2010. The course is a mere 20 minutes car journey from the airport and is ideally situated for many of the best and unrivalled golf courses in the UK including Carnoustie and Gleneagles to name but a few!
The city of Dundee has a vibrant and cosmopolitan feel to it, hosting various conferences, shows and attractions throughout the year - there is always something to see and do. You can explore the history of Dundee with the jute trade at the Verdant Works or marvel at the sight of the "RRS Discovery Ship" which provided transport for Scott's trip to the Antarctic.
Dundee has some great shops and unique outlets, and a huge choice of restaurants and pubs for you to relax in.
Further afield, the airport is a convenient gateway for Fife, Angus, Perth and Kinross and is less than an hours' drive from the start of the Highlands.
