Wonderful marine life adventures among the beautiful mountain scenery and islands of the firth of clyde. enjoy areas only accessible by our new RIB.
There are almost daily sightings of common and grey seals and harbour porpoises. Gannets and Cormorant sea birds glide a metre above the waves while hunting fish. In the summer you may see Dolphins and Basking sharks that visit the Firth of Clyde.
Why not charter our boats exclusively for that special family celebration, birthdays and anniversaries etc.
We operate commercial high performance RIB’s (Rigid Inflatable Boats) built in Somerset by Ribcraft. They are equipped the most up to date safety systems and equipment. we are in constant contact with the HM Coastguard via DSC radio link and all our boats are MCA 4 coded in compliance with Maritime legislation. Our safety equipment includes a 14 man life raft on board each vessel, offshore certified flares and emergency beacons. Our crew are trained in first aid and emergency procedures and all vessels are equipped with an auxiliary outboard.
It is mandatory for all passengers to wear life jackets.
We have a risk assessment policy and a commercial insurance policy. A copy is available upon request for schools, corporate organisations or any passenger who may wish to book with us.
Please note It is our first priority to ensure the safety of all our passengers. We reserve the right to refuse passage to any individual that we may assess a risk to any aspect of safety aboard our vessels. We may also cancel a trip due to bad weather conditions.
Glasgow Sea Safari is acutely aware of their responsibility to the environment and marine wildlife. We operate and follow the code and conduct of the RSPB and WISE recommendations. Our RIB’s are powered by the new generation of Volvo D 6 computerised diesel engines they are powerful yet economical, with no fluid discharge and comply with European 2016 noise criteria.
