La Cantina Italian Restaurant situated on the basement level below the 51st State is one of Dunoon’s best, established restaurants. Open 7 days from 5.30pm, we pride ourselves in using the best of ingredients to provide a real taste of Italy. A family run business with families welcome, we offer a large selection of Italian specialities, fantastic homemade traditional thin based pizza, superb pasta dishes and much more.
With an excellent wine list and imported Italian beers in bottles as well as draught, our taverna style restaurant provides a comfortable and relaxing venue for any night out. The 51st State Bar & Grill, above La Cantina, offers a unique dining experience unlike anything in the Cowal peninsula. A fusion of American and of course with our established Italian theme, the 51st State boasts a huge menu covering items such as starters and light snacks to pizza & pasta of course not forgetting our tex mex section including ribs, steaks, chicken and our own famous homemade 5oz burgers. We stock a huge range of drinks including fantastic wines, beers, cocktails and of course our famous thick shakes! Suitable for all the family and with the walls and ceilings covered with memorabilia and our authentic live American radio, you’ll never get bored! Open 7 days from 10am with food served all day from midday and 12.30pm on Sundays.
