Wild camping for tents only on the hill behind the Coll Hotel offers an old fashioned experience (which is becoming rarer by the year) where you can camp completely amongst nature with no frills or cost. There are no facilities and you are expected to look after your site. The reward is wonderful views with plenty of fresh air and you are, of course, close to the hotel for toiles, showers and refreshments, both liquid and solid. Please ask at the hotel before camping.
