Welcome to Atlantic Bay Cottage, our beautiful self catering cottage accommodation with its own shoreline situated on the edge of the Atlantic on the Island of Seil near Oban. Enjoy wonderful days in Argyll, eat your supper as the sun sets over the sea, look out for otters and bottle nose dolphins just off the shore and then go to sleep to the sound of the sea lapping at the bottom of the garden.
Just 12 miles South of Oban, Seil Island is connected to the mainland by the world famous “Bridge over the Atlantic”. Seil Island enjoys the peace and tranquillity of island life but is very easy to get to. Argyll is a stunning part of Scotland with sea, mountains, lochs, Celtic History and amazing wildlife. All of these are easily accessible from Seil with good road systems and if you want to see other islands by ferry, Oban is the Gateway to the Isles.
Whether you want to come for relaxation and rejuvenation or an activity filled holiday Atlantic Bay Cottage is a perfect base to start each day from.
Atlantic Bay Cottage is a Scandinavian style self catering cottage with spectacular views to the islands of Jura, Colonsay and Mull and then nothing until America. The sunsets from Atlantic Bay Cottage have to be seen to be believed.
Atlantic Bay Cottage will comfortably sleep six in three bedooms and we also have a double futon available so that eight could sleep here if required. The lounge/dining area and master bedroom enjoy extensive views to the west, there is also a patio area for barbeque and eating outdoors and a very large garden for relaxing and playing in. The garden leads to the shore and the sea.
