Backwoodsman is a family-owned business, established in the Scottish Highlands for over a quarter of a century.
We manufacture GrowMate pyramids in a modern 2,400 sq ft factory and all processes are carried out under one roof and under our own direct supervision. Only the finest materials are used throughout – a fact that enables us to ship all products with an unconditional 5 year warranty (excludes glass).
Visitors to the area are welcome to call at our factory, but please be aware that staff are not always available to show you around our several processes!
If you would like to see our products demonstrated under ideal conditions, we recommend that you call at our stand at any of the horticultural exhibitions we go to each year (see Exhibitions section).
Thousands of GrowMates are now in use throughout the UK, but many individual modules have also been exported to gardening enthusiasts in Japan, the United States, and most EU countries.
Export enquiries are welcome and we can ship via Coleshill, England to most parts of the world. If you are calling us from abroad, we can generally quote surface or air-freight costs on any item within 3 - 4 hours.
