About James Watt Dock
James Watt Dock Marina is a new marina managed by Blue Sea Marinas with berths for 65 boats afloat on finger pontoons and alongside. Facilities at the marina include: dry berthing arrangements, shower facilities, launderette fuel (diesel only) and visitor berthing.
Our modern Varis pontoons have 16amp and 32amp metered power supply with water available to every berth. The marina also offers unique facilities for storage ashore and winter lay up including options for storage undercover within the Grade A Listed Sugar Warehouse.
The marina forms the centre piece of one of Scotland’s largest regeneration projects which will see the redevelopment of the 107 acre dock involving over £180 million of public/private investment.
Other facilities/services that will be developed at James Watt Dock during winter 2011 are set to include; café, chandlery, charter, marine electronics, rigging and maintenance/engineering services.
