About
We are a family-run business specialising in boat transport, established around 30 years ago when we moved new and used plant and machinery, with the occasional boat. This has now developed into our main business, ie moving new boats from the factories in France, Germany and Poland to the UK, as well as moving pre-owned boats, yachts, workboats, fishing boats and landing crafts for private and commercial clients.
Over the past 5 years, we have moved boats around Scotland as far north as the Orkney Islands, to Skibbereen in the South of Ireland, and throughout the south coast of England. European destinations have included France, Spain, the Netherlands, Germany, Portugal, Slovenia, Gothenburg and Stockholm in Sweden, Bergen in Norway, and Lanzarote. We have also been as far east as Turkey and Kazakhstan in Asia.
We can transport by road or sea, or we can arrange airfreight. No boat is too small for us to quote! We have moved 16 feet wide catamarans in the UK with no problem, as well as project boats for restoration and small motorboats.
We can also shrink-wrap your boat to keep it clean while in transit or sitting on hard standing at cost should you request it. We also provide custom built cradles for transport and organise cranage for specialised moves - just ask for a quote. We are also able to supply escort vehicles for journeys within Scotland with advice for route planning for wide and high loads.
